The Gospel of Christ Jesus

The Gospel of Christ Jesus is the most important message to mankind. It is the love story of the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) fulfilled in their plan to redeem fallen mankind. The story of the Gospel has been shared for over millennia; yet with each passing century, it has lost its potency as able-bodied preachers have substituted the true gospel for a cheap remake. Their error has led to disillusioned Christians who struggled to understand why their lives do not reflect the vibrancy and power of the early church in 1st century Palestine. Unfortunately, the believer who was misled ultimately have themselves to blame. This is because we are all asked to read and study God's word for ourselves. In 2 Timothy 2:15, the text reads, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth". This means that we are to study God's word under the power of his Holy Spirit so we can uncover His Truth. One cannot simply rely on unscrupulous or lazy pastors to encode God's plan of salvation for their lives. Although these church leaders were supposed to be good stewards, we have all seen how too many of them have proven to be untrustworthy. Therefore, it is incumbent on each of us, to explore God's Holy Word for ourselves. This will ensure we fully understand it and can apply it to our life.

In ACTS 17:11, the text states,

"These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily to see whether those things were so."

This text means that after the word of God was preached to the church, the congregation still went back home and checked the scripture for themselves. This is what a true steward would do if they take their salvation seriously.

Below I have exposited the entire Gospel message coupled with the Christian walk into a four-part series. This series will equip you to ensure your salvation is first assured and importantly, that you have the power of the Holy Spirit, which Christ Jesus promised you in order to live the Christian life. May God richly bless you.

Gospel Series

Step Number One.

The complete gospel, underscoring the work of the entire Trinity in Salvation. It explains the presence of the Trinity at the fall of man and then the redemptive work each member has in your salvation. Click Here: The Gospel

Step Number Two.

The Walk explains the very mindset you must set as you embark on your journey with the Holy Spirit. It debunks failed teachings on how to approach your Heavenly Father. It guides you in the right way to fully submit to the Lord which ensures access to His promises for your life. Click Here: The Walk

Step Number Three.

The biggest challenge you will face is yourself. The Challenge spells out the internal war going on within yourself and how to gain victory over it. Click Here: The Challenge

Step Number Four.

The promise is the highest level of Christian living. It is the state of perfect rest in Christ Jesus. In Matthew 11:28-30, the scripture reads, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Rest in Christ is a place of joy and comfort that comes from fully abiding in him, each moment of each day of your life. Click Here: The Promise (Rest)

I prayerfully wrote this series under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. As you work through this series and begin or resume your walk with God, you are now equipped with the truths that will radically transform your life.

May God grant you an abundance of life as you step out on faith and leap into the eternal affection and warmth of His unconditional love.

Be encouraged,

Thomas Knowles, Minister of the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
